Get Real! Science is about many things. In addition to our programs that serve masters students and Rochester youth, a number of research efforts are underway with regards to:
- Inquiry-based science learning and teaching across non-traditional learning contexts
- Teacher roles in reform-based science classrooms
- The perceived value and desired use of authentic tools in reform-based science teaching
- The impact of reform-based approaches in teacher preparation in the service of social justice and equity
- Teacher blogging, and how teachers do and can use blogs in their profession work, and how this affects professional identity development and connects them to various professional communities.
